Yo, I am literally trying to answer a DM with one hand while microwaving dinosaur nuggets with the other. I cannot record a Reel right now or ever. I can barely record a voice note without someone yelling “MOOOOM COME LOOK AT THIS!” while another smaller someone climbs my pant leg.

Especially if you’re simultaneously working an exhausting physical job, neurodivergent, raising kids, caregiving, burnt out, or just honestly over trying to execute some well intentioned strategy while the whole world just crashes and burns.

This is the part no one says out loud: it’s not always a visibility problem—it’s a capacity mismatch. And when your only strategy is “do more,” burnout isn’t a matter of if—it’s a matter of when.

What I needed was a content strategy that allowed me a way to show up that didn’t require my presence 24/7. I don’t want to pre-plan my Instagram aesthetic or have a giant Notion calendar that tells me what to post and when. I wanted to be someone in a niche space who got found. The result?
Just under 1,000 impressions in 15 days, with only two small batches of pins.
No Reels! No daily posts. No burnout. Just a Pinterest strategy that actually works for new business owners like me.


Why This Strategy Matters If You’re Just Starting Out

If you’re still in that early phase—figuring out your niche, building an offer, or waiting for your first client—you don’t need to wait to become an “authority.”

You don’t need a following. You need a foundation.
